Project Overview

Over the past six years, Hope Ever Foundation has actively planned, implemented, and evaluated a wide range of skill development initiatives supported by the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC).

These projects were designed to enhance employability, entrepreneurship, and income-generation opportunities for rural youth, artisans, women, SC/ST communities, and other marginalized groups.

The Foundation adopted a structured approach beginning with skill gap assessments and local opportunity mapping, followed by the design of targeted training programs in tailoring, embroidery, handicrafts, carpentry, organic farming, and renewable energy.

Beyond technical training, participants were equipped with soft skills, entrepreneurship development, digital literacy, and workplace communication, thereby improving their overall competitiveness in the job market.

The projects strongly emphasized market linkages, certification, and placement support. Artisans were connected to trade fairs, exhibitions, and buyer-seller meets, helping expand market demand for handcrafted products.

For rural youth, partnerships with industries, cooperatives, and renewable energy service providers enabled job placements, apprenticeships, and entrepreneurial ventures.

One major 48-month NSDC partnership focused on SC/ST youth successfully trained more than 1,480 participants, resulting in an average 30% increase in monthly income and the establishment of small enterprises in organic farming and solar energy services.

By ensuring inclusivity for women and differently-abled individuals, these interventions contributed to sustainable livelihoods, the objectives of Skill India, and broader inclusive economic growth.
